Self-described as a Mother first, Maggie is a 200 hour certified Yoga teacher. She is a long time practitioner who initially explored Yoga to relieve stress and strengthen her body during pregnancy and child rearing. She has been teaching since September 2013, offering a variety of styles for those interested in exploring the connection between breath and movement. She learns from her experiences as a mother and a teacher, and weaves this knowledge into her classes.
Maggie’s style is inspired by many different styles, including Integral Yoga and the teachings of Sri Swami Satchidananda. Her practice is slow and mindful, aiming to explore the subtle body through Asana, Meditation and Deep Relaxation. Her classes encourage students to develop an inner awareness, observe their thoughts and emotions, and deepen their understanding of their true selves. She incorporates many different styles and disciplines into her practice, in order to teach to the students in front of her.
