As a result, she began to study the physical and spiritual aspects and has made Yoga a part of her life. Kate is married to Richard, has 2 cats and is an avid gardener. Her latest interest is learning to play the Tibetan Bowls.
Kate, who has taught for 16 years, calls herself: “An Eternal Student of Yoga.” She has studied many styles, and has had the opportunity to learn from many of the current Yoga Masters. Her teaching style is a blend of Kripalu, with Erich Schiffmann and Doug Keller being her biggest influences. Her Gentle Yoga classes could be called meditation in motion, where students mindfully flow with breath and movements. Her intention is to create a welcoming and friendly class, where each student is encouraged to honor their body’s wisdom and to work at their own level in a non-competitive environment.
